Fantastic course

Absolutely brilliant course. I’ve done day one and day two and would recommend both. Mike and Julien are really great tutors, everything – even the complex stuff – is explained and demonstrated clearly so you can feel confident when it’s your turn to have a go. Nothing too much trouble for these guys, really friendly atmosphere AND endless supply of tea and biscuits -what’s not to like?

Excellent beginner course

I did the Day 1 course and it was just what I needed to get started with bike maintenance and the day flew by. Julien and Matt were fantastic teachers, doing demos on a practice bike and then allowing us to put the knowledge into practice on our own bikes. It makes you realise how simple some adjustments are to do yourself and save a lot of money! Thanks very much!

Great course! I have completed both day one and day two now and as a result feel a lot more confident and knowledgeable regarding my bike. The course runs at a great pace and the ability to learn from others and their bikes is really helpful. If anyone is looking to further their bike skills than this is a great way to do it.

Excellent teaching by Mike and Julien, I felt very supported all day and enjoyed the company of my fellow students. I would thoroughly recommend this course.

Good Skills

March 12, 2016

I have done days 1 and 2, I’ve found it brilliant and learnt great skills to enable me to fix and maintain my bikes so they run better and this will save me money in the long run. Day 1 taught us how to check over and service the bike, I’d dabbled with this stuff before but feel like I really understand what to do, why, in what order and key things to look out for. I now feel confident to do these things properly my self. The course was a great mix of listening to information and putting things into practice, some of which encouraged you to work things out for yourself. It’s so much better than trying to learn from the Internet!! Day 2 went into a lot more detail which was when I found more problems with my bike so it’s great that I now know how to service and replace hubs, bearings, spokes etc. I highly recommend and will be back to do more work at the ladies night and bike kitchen 🙂
