Great course
Two fantastic teachers, Morgan and Zara taught me so much. Their explanations were very clear and they couldn’t have been more helpful. I no longer feel such a numpty when it comes to the workings of my bike.
A great hands-on course backed by loads of theory!
The day flew by as we watched demonstrations then carried out the work under supervision on our own bikes. The tutors were very experienced and really helpful as we made repairs to bikes of all makes and ages. Great value for money and a lot of fun too!
Great Course, Great Tutors
I really enjoyed the course and I am a lot more confident with removing and replacing bearings. I may need a bit more work on chain sizing and wheel truing but good to get an insight into to both.
Super useful and interesting - bike mechanics and tips
Perfectly paced day of learning about bikes. Great mix of theory, background and practical work. The tutors (who are mechanics themselves) are so knowledgeable and helpful and were able to adjust the day to the needs (and bikes) of the group. Every single question was given a meaningful answer, nothing felt too silly or too complex to ask in the small group environment.
The workshop is great to build your confidence and also understand why there are so many tools to fix up a bike!
The team were so welcoming. On a personal level also I really liked having female instructors, maybe because most bike shops are staffed by men and I’ve had some bad experiences. Definitely feel more equipped to work on my own bike and also have meaningful conversations with shop mechanics if I do need something doing.
Thanks!
So much fun
A really valuable experience for anyone looking to level up their basic bike maintenance skills. Learnt so much and was a delight to be surrounded by like-minded people keen to learn and geek out on bikes
