The Bristol Bike Project

The Social Cycle

Feel like you could do with a healthy dose of Social Vitamin C (Company)? Come along to our weekly workshop for a little bit of tea and tinkering...

Here’s how it works…

The Social Cycle is a weekly workshop bringing adults together in a fun and relaxed environment. We fix bikes, we drink tea, we chat and have fun. We offer a healthy dose of Social Vitamin C (Company!) by providing the space for people to come together in a relaxed, friendly, nonjudgmental environment. Many of the bikes we fix go to support the Project’s Earn-a-Bike programmes.

This workshop is free of charge and no booking is required. If you are working on your own bike, there may be a charge for new and used parts.

The Social Cycle is open to anyone who feels they would benefit from a healthy dose of Social Vitamin C. If you, or someone you know, would like to come along and get involved, please contact chris@thebristolbikeproject.org.

To find out more about our Social Cycle programme, watch our short film ‘Tea & Tinkering’, made by Touchpaper Productions.

By coming to this workshop, you are agreeing to our Terms & Conditions.
When

Fridays

11.00am – 2.00pm

“It makes my Fridays! I know I’m coming to a peaceful environment with good teachers who’ll show me how to use the right tools. They’re very understanding and let me get on with it and make my own mistakes. I get more from this than I ever expected to. I was a 4×4 driver, but now I love to cycle.” Justin
