Here’s how it works

We offer a full repair and maintenance service. Any profit we make will be reinvested in our community programmes which help people from across Bristol get out on two wheels.

Drop in with your bike during our opening hours to book your repair or service.

* Please note that we only work on e-bikes at the mechanic’s discretion and by prior arrangement *

What can you expect from us?

  • We’ll provide a full quote when you bring your bike in, free of charge.
  • Once your bike is finished, we’ll give you a call to let you know.
  • All bikes repaired by us are given a thorough test ride before being returned to you.

LEVEL 3

Level 3 Service (£160)
Includes everything from our Level 1 & 2 service plus:

  • Bottom Bracket thread re-greased
  • Hubs serviced
  • Headset serviced

Our level 3 service also covers the cost of fitting any major parts such as bottom brackets, headsets etc, but not the cost of the parts themselves.

LEVEL 2

Level 2 Service (£95)
Includes everything from our Level 1 service plus:

  • Drive train taken apart, cleaned and reassembled
  • Headset checked for lateral play and adjusted if necessary
  • Hubs checked for lateral play and adjusted if necessary

Our level 2 service also covers the cost of fitting any consumable parts such as brake pads, cables, chains, cassettes etc, but not the cost of the parts themselves.

LEVEL 1

Level 1 service (£60)

  • Brakes checked and adjusted
  • Gears set up (re-aligning the derailleur if necessary)
  • Wheels checked for damage/wear, slight wheel true if necessary
  • Tyres inspected and inflated
  • Bolts checked
  • Frame and forks inspected for damage
  • Seat post & quill stem greased

Standalone jobs

  • Bar tape wrapping: £10.00
  • Bottom Bracket fitting/re-greasing: £25.00
  • Brake Service (per cable brake): £15.00
  • Brake bleed: £25.00 each. £45.00 pair.
  • Chain fitting: £10.00 (without a gear service)
  • Cleaning: from £10.00 per hour
  • Drive train fitting: £45.00 (free on a Level 2)
  • Fork fitting: from £30.00
  • Gear Service (per gear): £15.00 (Internal hub – Quote on request)
  • Headset fitting or service: £25.00
  • Hub Service: £30.00
  • Hub Adjust: £15.00
  • Insurance quote:£40.00 per hour (taken off the price of any repair)
  • Mudguard fit: £20.00
  • Pannier fit: £10.00
  • Puncture: £10.00 (Hub gears etc – Quote on request)
  • Spoke replacement plus wheel truing: from £25
  • Tubeless setup: from £20.00 (charged by time. Plus parts)
  • Tyre fitting: £10.00 (rear tyres on e-bikes, hub gears etc. : £13.00)
  • Wheel truing: from £20
  • Wheel build: £55.00
  • Wheel fit (front): £10.00
  • Wheel fit (rear): £15.00 – £20.00

Labour: £60.00 per hour

Minimum workshop charge: £5.00 per hour

All prices inclusive of 20% VAT
