Enjoyed it and have 2 suggestions

February 2, 2026

Really enjoyed the day and it was great to get hands-on in a supportive and properly tooled-up environment. Everyone very friendly and teachers were great. Loved it.

I struggled with the teaching model (teacher does demo quite quickly while explaining and fixing a bike, then we have a go). I paid attention and concentrated but the moment I was back at my bike I could not remember the steps that the teacher had done. My brain just doesn’t work that way.

Also, because the teachers were using a random bike that needed fixing, it seemed to me that they had too much to do – demonstrating a task, explaining it, *and* fixing an unknown bike.

Suggestions

1: list the demonstration steps (e.g. replacing brake pad) on the projector and screen to refer to after the demonstration

2: print the demonstration steps on sheets that we can use in the workshop and take home – bonus points you could share these on the website

3. have one demo bike that you use for training only when doing demos. This would avoid a bunch of unknowns and make the teachers’ job easier

The course was well worth doing, with great teachers.

Great Course

I’ve completed part 1 and 2 Intensive course over 2 consecutive weeks. The course is very much hands on with excellent tutors and equipment. Lots of snippets of great advice but not quite enough time to cover everything planned. Highly recommend.

Worth the time and money

Very glad I did this. Great support from the team.

We didn’t get round to everything planned, mainly because we (the students) kept getting distracted by side issues. Maybe it would be better as a three day course.

I need to follow up now on what I learnt so as to cement it in.

Great course

Course was a small group of 4 so we all got to have individual attention. Instructors were friendly and welcoming to everyone in the group. I really learned a lot and feel much more knowledgeable about how my bike functions and how to begin to assess problems.

To make it even better, future iterations could maybe include another snack break or two–for me there was a bit too much to take in during the longer afternoon session without a little reset/refuel 🙂
