This is the ideal hands-on opportunity to learn about how a bicycle works and to get experience of cleaning, adjusting, and fixing the parts most likely to need cleaning, adjusting and fixing. No question is a silly one here. As a result, I now have the confidence to go out on my own or with my children and know that I can ensure they can sit comfortably and safely, their bikes are in working order, and, perhaps most importantly, that I can fix a puncture and get us home safely.

I’ve cycled a fair bit and played around with my bikes but this was the first course I’d done. I knew about most of the topics covered but still picked-up lots of tips (Rob massaging tyres is certainly stored away). The main thing I’ll take away is simply watching how two people, who really know their way around a bike, at work in a top notch workshop.

What’s not to like? Plus supporting a good organisation. Thank you for a great session!
