Talk and book launch with Jenni from London Bike Kitchen
We’re stoked to be welcoming Jenni from London Bike Kitchen to the Project this month for the Bristol launch of her brand new book How to Build a Bike!
Jenni will be at the Project on Monday 20th November, from 6-7pm, to give us the back story of blood, sweat and tears that went into the creation of this character (and bike!) building book – a great insight into the power of DIY (or, as Jenni calls it, DIT, ‘Do it Together’) spirit in the world of bike mechanics. She’ll also be talking about how to get more women into STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
Signed copies of her book will be available to buy on the night, so get your Christmas shopping done early!
Afterwards, we’ll be cracking on with our usual Women & Trans* Night and Jenni will be sticking around as our guest mechanic for the night.
The talk is open to all. The workshop afterwards is reserved for Women & Trans* folk only. The event is free and space will be allocated on a first come first served basis so be sure to arrive early if you want to secure a space.
