The Bristol Bike Project’s friends Demand Energy Equality (who were featured here a little while back) have just launched a New Year’s funding appeal to run DIY solar PV workshops for low income households.

They’re looking to build on the successes of their Solar Tree project from autumn 2012 to teach even more people the skills to build DIY solar PV. Most importantly, the workshops are designed to increase understanding of energy and energy issues. Greater understanding is necessary for demand reduction and the tackling of energy inequality.
