We have just started a new course, funded by Learning Communities, part of Bristol City Council. The Earn-a-Bike Extension is designed for those who have previously received a bicycle from us through our weekly Earn-a-Bike programme and expressed an interest in  learning more about bicycle mechanics and developing their skills further. This will also mean that they have the confidence to be able to volunteer with us at the project on a more regular basis should they wish. We will work with six project-users over the course of a six week period and run the course continuously throughout the year. For the first of these courses, we are working with six Iranian gentlemen who are members of Bristol Refugee Rights. We have been having a lot of fun learning bike parts in Farsi!
