The Bristol Bike Project

The Social Cycle

Feel like you could do with a healthy boost of connection and company? Join us for a little bit of tea and tinkering.

Please note that we are currently unable to take any new participants for The Social Cycle as the sessions are at full capacity. People remain with us for varied lengths of time so we cannot guarantee when spaces will become available unfortunately.

If you would like to be notified of spaces opening up then please send an email to hello@thebristolbikeproject.org and we will keep your details and get back in touch if we can offer a space. We will also update this page to show that we have space available so feel free to check back here!

The Social Cycle is a relaxed workshop session for anybody struggling with their mental health, feeling lonely, anxious or isolated. We bring adults together in a welcoming and supportive environment. We fix bikes, we drink tea, chat and have fun.

Participants are paired up with experienced volunteers and workshop coordinators. You will be hands-on and learn new skills by working collaboratively in a Do It Together atmosphere where everyone is valued. Although no previous experience is required, a keen interest in getting hands-on and learning about fixing bikes is necessary for you to get the most from the experience.

We aim to be as inclusive and supportive as possible. Please get in touch if you have questions about suitability of the session.

By coming to this workshop, you are agreeing to ourĀ Terms & Conditions.
