I attended this course yesterday and it was exactly what I had hoped for, and more. Our instructor, Tim, was great. He explained everything very well and it was easy enough to follow his instructions. It feels really good to know that I can now remove the back wheel and fix a puncture. It's not even that difficult once you know how to do it. We also gained lots of useful knowledge on how to keep our bikes in good working condition. I very much recommend this course.
Great course! I've learned a lot and had fun. It's always nice to realise that things are way easier than they seem (although still tricky!).
A lot was packed into this half day course. Not only did I learn loads about his to give my bike some TLC but it was really enjoyable too.
Great course with a superb instructor (Tim) who had a very patient and accommodating excellent teaching style. Tim taught the basics but was also very receptive to additional questions or concerns regarding bike maintenance. Got everything I wanted from the course plus more. Many thanks
Excellent course on Saturday 20th May. Brilliant course tutor. Even though I have cycled for years I have learnt a lot. May even volunteer to get more experience.
A really excellent course. Despite having been cycling since childhood - on the same bike I ride now (!) - I've never really got to grips with it. After the course I now feel that I have all the information I need to capably deal with a puncture, adjust my bike to fit me as best it can, ensure that my gears and brakes are in tip-top condition, and more. Mike was a brilliant instructor, taking time to explain and reiterate where necessary, and the teeny group size meant that there was the perfect amount of time spent with each of us on our very different bikes.I really appreciated him spending a few minutes at the end answering some of my foolishly basic extra questions too. I look forward to popping into one of the Bike Kitchens to further tune up the bike I now better understand thanks to this great course that I FULLY recommend.
I found this to be a really useful and informative session. As someone new to cycling I feel far more confident in looking after my bike and doing basic maintenance. Mike was a great instructor, very calm, patient and knowledgeable. I'll definitely be back for more workshops.
Really good course. The instructor couldn't have been more helpful. I have a much better idea of how my bike works and what to do if I have a puncture.
Thanks to Mike for a good course. I think I knew a bit about all of the areas covered, but this gives that bit of extra know how and then means you are confident to tackle the job away from the workshop. A good learning environment, nice pace and place!
A brilliant workshop for covering the basics and providing that confidence to give it a go yourself. Good mix of talking and hands on with very patient advice.
